Rekindling American Values believes a powerful case must be made to the American people for our country's future as a democracy of, by and for the people. This work will begin by first re-setting America's moral compass. Our nation was built upon a foundation of Enlightenment values and the celebration of human reason. But it was just that, a foundation. By recognizing the challenges of our own age our intent is to re-imagine the Founder's blueprint for a society designed to be free, open, allowing for social and intellectual progress as well as business innovation. This is not about looking backwards, but building anew and it is not a short term endeavor. The work will not be finished in one or two election cycles. While maintaining freedom, fairness and compassion at the center of our moral compass, with a firm commitment to civility, Americans can build a prosperous future responsive to the incredible changes reshaping nearly every aspect of life in the 21st Century.
